The Lenexa Sertoma Club is a service organization supporting people with speech and hearing difficulties. Through the years club members have raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for various programs, equipment, scholarships and individual needs in our community. Who We Help
We are currently raising funds to help make the new Olathe Library building accessible for invidivudals who are deaf and with hearing diffuculties.
We hold several fundraisers each year, including our Summer Suds Spectacular and Boo Brew. All of the money we raise stays in our community. Benefactors of our fundraising efforts have included:

Deaf Cultural Center and
The Kansas School
for the Deaf

Olathe Libraries

Citizens in our community in need of hearing aids (S.H.A.R.P. Sertoma Hearing Aid Recycling Program)

Graduate student scholarships for speech hearing for students attending the University of Kansas
Interpreters for Theatre in the Park
The Sertoma Annual Fund
Johnson County Schools


Meetings
The Lenexa Sertoma Club meets at Brewbakers in Lenexa (9482 Renner Blvd) on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of of every month from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. The meeting consists of lunch, business and a special guest speaker on the 3rd Thursday educating members on numerous topics. In order to disburse funds to local organizations, the club does various fundraisers throughout the year. Members are requested to support these fundraisers with their time and energy. There is a one-time initiation fee of $50 and quarterly dues of $40.
